This is my third purchase of a Luminox watch. The model 3053 is a very reliable, lightweight, and accurate watch. This watch is the first Luminox I've owned with the rubber type band, and I think I like it better than the velcro band or the metal band. Luminox has proven over the years to be an exceptional watch, a working man's watch that one can wear to social events as well. The watch is rugged, good looking and accurate. And you NEVER have to be concerned with being able to see the watch at night...it's almost as bright as a nightlight!! The face of the watch is larger than my 3901 model,and much easier to see. The band is made of some sort of rubber, and is very flexible, and comfortable to wear. I also happen to think that this is the best looking Navy Seals series watch that Luminox makes. You can't really go wrong with ANY Luminox watch, but I think the 3903 model is one of the best Luminox watches made. By the way, I researched this watch extensively on the internet, and the best price I found BY FAR was on Amazon.com. I paid less than 0.00 for this watch on Amazon.com, and that included paying for two day shipping. The best price I could find on E-bay (for buy-it now) was about forty dollars higher. So, do your due diligence, and I think you will find that Amazon.com can rarely be beat on the price of this watch!!

I've had this watch for 6 months now and its seen alot of action. I was surprised at how striking the watch was when it arrived. I nearly shed tears (but didn't) when I first scaped the bezel against some corral in Maui. Dead accurate on time---toe to toe with the cell phone over these 6 months. Sturdy build, impressive weight yet comfortable to wear daily. It's been submerged in salt and fresh water and in turbulent waves with aplomb. I totally feel cooler with this on. So, if you want to feel the coolness not easily put into words too, buy this watch.

As a watch enthusiast, I can honestly say that one just doesn't find many yellow watches for women, which is what makes this watch all the more appealing. I would like to mention how pleased I am with the St. Moritz company for having the notion to make dive watches for women in as many colors as the watches they make for men. Well done.
As for the watch, it's fairly standard. It has a timing bezel and date function, as well as very bright glow in the dark hands. I should mention that I don't scuba dive, so I have never tested the function of the watch at any considerable depth. I do snorkel, however, and so far the watch and the band have stood up well to salt water.
Overall this is an attractive time piece. I recommend it for any outdoorsy sort of woman (or child, as another reviewer mentioned that he bought this for his son--I would have loved this when I was a kid) who can appreciate its eye-catching appearance.
